Today we spent almost the whole day practicing for the assembly! We used the props and the sets and practiced moving to our correct spots and saying our lines in big voices. We also practiced what we need to do when we are "off-stage" so that the audience doesn't get distracted from the show. When we are off stage we are responsible for staying really still and quiet on the risers. This isn't always an easy thing to do but Ms. Boyer and Mrs. Hamby know that we are up to the challenge!
Over the weekend it is VERY important that everyone takes some time to rehearse their lines so that they have them completely memorized for Tuesday. When we arrive back next week we only have 2 days of practice until the big show. Yikes!! Once again, this is a big job but Ms. Boyer and Mrs. Hamby know we are up to this challenge too!
Today we also chose our new helper sharing category. It will be "Favourite Stuffy". We didn't pick a helper since we have an extra long weekend but we will start this new category next week.
