Today was our third day of SOGO! Ms. Boyer was away today and we had 2 guest teachers. We had Ms. Yoon in the morning and Mrs. Bigelow in the afternoon.
This morning we started working on a fall poetry project. In this project we are writing about the changes that happen at this time of year. We will look forward to bringing these poems home to share with you in a few weeks.
After recess we had SOGO. Please remember that tomorrow we will be going up to Nose Hill with SOGO. It will be VERY important that everyone is dressed appropriately for the weather and for running. It might also be a good idea to bring a snack that you can tuck into your pocket so you can re-fuel part way through the morning. We will be leaving for Nose Hill just after 9:00am and returning to the school just before noon.
This afternoon started with some time to finish up our recipes and then we worked to finish our still-life paintings by focusing on the backgrounds. After that we had some time to play our new math game: Race to 100.
