Today was the Remembrance Day assembly. Each class performed as part of the assembly and did a wonderful job. We all came away feeling proud and lucky to be Canadian and to have such brave men and women keeping us safe. Our class performed the song "Sing for Peace". We have been practicing the song for several weeks and did an amazing job using our strong singing voices.
This afternoon we did our arctic animal research and had outside gym. Can you believe this November weather?!
At the end of the day we found our that our class won the Veteran's Food Bank competition. Our class donated 125 items! What an amazing demonstration of generosity by Room 2!
Please remember that there is no school tomorrow. Also, if any parents were able to get a video of our class performing in the assembly this morning please let me know. I would be happy to upload the video to our blog to share with parents who were unable to attend.
