Today we started with our quiet choices. Then Ms. Boyer and Mrs. Hamby told us about our new centers for next week. They are:
1. Bookmaking and stories
2. Yarn Sticks
3. Hidden Pictures
4. Literacy Games
5. Finish Up

After recess we did printing and booktime. Then we started our finish up jobs in math.

After lunch Ms. Boyer read us a story called "That's Mine!". She had noticed a few people during centers who were forgetting to share and be generous with our class tools and supplies. This story was about some frogs who had the same problem and had to learn to be more peaceful and cooperative.

In gym we worked on our soccer passing skills with a partner.  Then we played Monkey in the Middle. Two people stand across from each other and another person stands in the middle. The people on the outsides try to pass the ball to each other without letting the person in the middle get the ball. If the person in the middle gets the ball, they switch spots with someone from the outside.

In music we started working on a special song for a music contest that we are going to enter. If we win the song might get played on the radio and our school will win a prize!

At the end of the day we got to go visit the portable. We had a special secret surprise for Ms. Boyer. Her wedding party is this weekend (she got married in the summer, but they didn't have the party) and we surprised her with special hearts we had made on Monday when she was away. We each put our own message on the hearts. Ms. Boyer says she will use them for decoration at the wedding party!

Tomorrow is Fresh Air Friday. We will be doing three difference activities. One of the activities will be planting bulbs in the front flower beds. If any parents would like to come join us, extra hands always make planting easier! We will plan to start planting at about 9:30.
