1. In math we had the opportunity to make correction and re-submit math problems from last week. Then we created our own math word problems and some may be used in class in the future.
2. For science we went outside to look at the Ice Village. We noticed that many ice blocks had melted or were broken. We think this was caused by the sun and warmer weather over the weekend or human interference. We also noticed there was melting on the ice from the south west direction - which is where the sun goes to set!
3. In gym we had our scooter relay races
4. The grade 1s learned about the "-in" word family, while grade 2s went on the "hard -I" sound word hunt.
