June 13
Highlights:
- Today we were working away on writing our Arctic stories. Some of us have decided to write it out by hand, while others have chosen to use a Chromebook to type it out. Those that would like to work on their rough drafts over the weekend are more than welcome to!
- We also got a lot of our Nova Scotia pamphlets done! A few of us have finished and moved onto creating a Google Slide about Nova Scotia.
- We had our last fire drill today, and it was the last day to be in our mixed up math groups with the other grade 1 and 2s.
- We were not able to get to the sail boat and paddle boat testing today, so we are saving that for next week!
Reminders:
- Special Helper for next Monday is: Lily
- We are planning to go outside and work in the flower beds tomorrow if the weather cooperates - please make sure to bring your outdoor shoes (as many students have been forgetting to do this with the warmer weather) and dress appropriately.
