Highlights:
- We were junior biologists today! We went outside to learn from the land and were finding various plants in our nature grounds! We talked about how plants, animals and insects all work together and help each other in different ways. First, we learned how to take good photos on the iPads of the plants ...
- ...and then went to sketch a close up of a flower and did our best to add details:
- We also found some grasshoppers who were blending into the long grass:
- We also had our very first assembly this week and we learned about the 3 R's - ask us what this means!
Reminders:
- The forms have a quick turn-around time and are due on Tuesday, September 10. Each student’s name is located on the far left side of the top page of this package (on the Student Demographic Verification form). Start of Year packages with the Demographic Verification forms were sent home yesterday. Please review the Demographic Verification document, and if there are any changes, write them directly on the form. Please sign the last page of this document. Return the forms that required a signature. (All other non-signature pieces can remain at home)
- Please return the annual welcome back potluck BBQ form by Monday, Sept 9.
