Highlights:
- Today we started with centers and then a discussion about Terry Fox! Then, we met with the entire school in the gym for an assembly:
- A couple of students from the school, who had cancer, were celebrated at the assembly. Then, the grade 5 and 6s led us through a warm up and some stretches.
- Afterwards we went outside:
Here we are at the starting point for the Terry Fox run.
"We felt happy and excited and a bit cold, but we did not lose hope!"
"Here we go!! The Terry Fox Run has started! YAYY!"
- Afterwards, we came back inside and added up all the laps that everyone ran...
We used tallies to figure out the total laps ran by everyone in room 2...
It was fun, because we got to count by 5s. The total was 121! We are all very proud!
