Today we worked on our literacy centers and had some stories shared with the class. 
We then continued our work on the prairie poem. Most people are working on editing rough drafts or sketching their final pictures on water color paper. 

We also continued our work on our math pattern centers. We are also using a table to track the work that has been completed - each time a center is done we get to mark the table with a check. 


During word work time the grade 1s worked on their "-at" word family while the grade 2s had book time and recorded "-ed" words as they read.

For Gym, we started a cooperative game of Name Ball, where multiple balls are being passed around in a circle and we have to remember to receive and pass to a specific person. 

A reminder: Special helper for tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 10) is Nooray. Please remember to bring your favorite stuffy, toy or action figure :)
