Nose Hill Friday!

Important

We are hoping to go to Nose Hill on Friday (weather permitting). We are looking for 2 more volunteers so that we can go. Please email Ms. Boyer if you can join us.

Highlight
This week we started our story telling work with Mrs. Gummo.  On Monday Mrs. Gummo shared a story called Cormorant and Eider Duck. When the story was finished we imagined some feathers and drew our feather ideas. The next day she told us a story called Granny Owl and Granny Raven. After we heard the story we practiced re-telling the story in groups of three. Ask me to re-tell these stories to you!

We also continued our animal research this week. We continued to learn about food chains and the impact that animals have on their ecosystems. Here is a short video we watched that related to the story we read on Friday. Some of us were really interested in this video and we wanted to have it on the blog so we could watch it again at home.
