Math/Science Night Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is our math/science curriculum night. Please join us between 5pm and 7pm to try some science and math activities related to the work we are doing in Room 2!

Highlights
This week we started working on our animal research by creating diagrams of our animals. We are working to include a detailed, accurate drawing, clear labels, and a title to our diagrams. Next we will begin using books and websites to find out information about our animals. We will be learning about our animals' home, food, predators, family, survival adaptations, and other interesting facts.

We have also been working on an exciting art project about Nose Hill. We are creating a huge mural of Nose Hill outside our room. We hope you will enjoy looking at it when you come tomorrow evening.

Today we also had another visit from Mrs. Gummo! She told us another bird story about Magpie and Mallard Duck. Ask me to tell you this story! We are beginning to think about how we could tell our own stories about Nose Hill and the animal that live there.

Tomorrow we will excited to have a visit from Saa'Kokoto!
