- Math: we were introduced to our Inuksuk Challenge - in our table groups we must create an Inuksuk that have the following rules:

1. Tall as the tallest person in your group2. No wider than the shortest person in your group3. No rock can be longer than the tallest person’s arm4. Only 6 – 12 rocks in total
- Science: we talked about insulation and learned that...
- animals have blubber, fur, feathers, scales and so on
- humans use snow pants, jackets, mittens, wool scarves and sweaters, rubber boots
- humans use things to keep food warm or hot such as tin foil, plastic wrap, insulated lunch bags, and ice packs
- Word Work: grade 1s worked on "-ick Family" words while the grade 2s finished up their journals and then did silent reading.
- Gym: we started a unit on dance - in groups we will be putting together our own "Stomp/step/clap" dance routine and then sharing it to the class at the end of the dance unit!
