- In the morning we had a surprise lock-down drill! Constable Rich came and reminded us of how important it is to remain QUIET and STILL during these drill so that we are ready if there ever was a real lock down. Also, we are not to listen to any announcements or open the door for anyone - unless it is after a police officer has come and visited our class.
- Social Studies: we started our second round of Paper Bag centers - room 2 got to go to Mrs. Armour's class to work on "Here's What You Will See" - creating post cards with scenes from the arctic
- We had a very important talk about snacks and sharing food - we are not allowed to share, take or give our snacks or lunch with other people because it can cause many problems
- unknown allergies
- other people around many want part of the snack as well but there might not be enough for everyone to eat it - it is not fair
- it might make people feel uncomfortable - someone might feel pressured to give up their snack/food even if they don't want to share it
- We had the band students from Simon Fraser School come to perform at our school! It was really cool! They told a story and had the music to match along.
