Highlights:
- Math: students that stayed in Mrs. Yoon's class played some Doubles Bingo - we learned how to do this in a large group then split off into smaller groups to practice our Doubles facts knowledge.
- Students who went to Mrs. Hamby's class learned how to group objects into groups from 1 to 40.
- Students who went to Mrs. Armour's class learned about +/-1 and +/-10 addition for numbers from 10 to 99.
- For word work grade ones continued on with their work of "-ob words" while grade twos worked on their journals and then quiet reading.
Reminders:
1. Special Helper for tomorrow is : Lily (favorite game)
2. We are swimming again tomorrow - room 2 will be in the afternoon (swimming lessons are from 2:20pm-3pm -- parent volunteers who have signed up for swimming please remember to arrive around 2 pm)
- students please remember to pack:
- an extra snack - as you may be hungry after swimming lessons
- proper walking shoes - to walk to and from the pool
- plastic bag - for wet swimsuit and towel after swimming
- underwear - if you are wearing your swimsuit to school
