- Writing & Word Work - we did an activity with editing by adding "juicy words" (descriptions and details to make the journal)
- Math: Students in the portables used two dice to roll numbers and then find the sum. In room 1 students continued on with their word of the doubles facts (flip-books). Students in room 2 went over the answers to our 2-digit addition sentence questions from last class and discussed common mistakes.
- Art / Computer: We researched the Blue Nose Schooner because we are studying Nova Scotia for Social Studies. Then, we drew the schooner and colored it in our art journals.
- Gym: we went out on the field to play "Port to Starboard" which pairs nicely with our investigation of the Blue Nose Schooner.
