Happy Thanksgiving!

This morning we went to the Whispering Woods to do research using our sense of touch. When we came inside we used a thesaurus to help us learn new describing words for soft, pointy, and cold. Thank you Evelyn for being our thesaurus operator!

After recess we made carrot cookies. It was surprising that there was orange zest in carrot cookies! (We got to eat them at the end of the day!)

After lunch we finished our recipe books. Most of us are completely finished but a few of us are planning to finish a bit of colouring at home. They are coming home for a special Thanksgiving present for our families!

Then we went to gym. We played tag games. We played hotdog, rocketship, crabwalk, and toilet tag!
After that we had music. In music, we played a Thanksgiving circle game. We passed around a turkey picture and then we sang a short song.  When the song stopped the "pilgrim" had to guess where the turkey was.

Isabel was our special helper today. Isabel shared her talent for painting and her talent for skating.

On Tuesday our helper is: Anjalika

Reminders:
- Please remember there is no school tomorrow or Monday. See you on Tuesday.
- The Card Box fundraiser ends on Tuesday. Please return order forms and unsold boxes.
