Highlights:
- Math: we started our next unit in math of Numbers in our new math groups! All the students in grades 1 and 2 were organized into groups for targeted math instruction with numbers.
- The students who stayed in room 2 learned about doubles addition facts and created a flipbook in their math journals
- The students who went to room 1 worked numbers from 1 to 19 and counting objects.
- The students who went to the portables continued on with their work to organize and group numbers for numbers up to 18.
- Social Studies: we had our final round of Arctic Collection paper-bag book. Room 2 got to create Ted Harrison inspired paintings for the cover.

- an extra snack - as you may be hungry after swimming lessons
- proper walking shoes - to walk to and from the pool
- plastic bag - for wet swimsuit and towel after swimming
- underwear - if you are wearing your swimsuit to school
