Battle Bunny and the 100th Day!

**Please remember our Field Trip is tomorrow! We will be doing outdoor and indoor activities so please come dressed for outdoor learning (just like Fresh Air Fridays). We will need to get on the bus at 8:50 so that we can arrive at the Leighton Center on-time** All field trip fees should be paid online through your CBE payment page.

There was a lot going on at Dr. Coffin School today! This morning, in between our All About Me project and Treat Day recess we had a chance to visit the Kindergarten's 100th Day celebration and see all their projects. There were some very creative ways to show 100!!

After recess we started our test event days for the Mathlympics. Test events are when the athletes try out the events before the olympics to make sure they know what to do and to make sure the olympics will run smoothly. We sent mathletes to different events to discover the rules for each event and to make sure we have some experts who can help out when our country gets to each of the events.

This afternoon our big buddies were ready to share their Battle Bunny project with us. They have been working on improving some unpopular books from our school library by changing words and adding to the pictures. They have been working on this project for three months and they were very excited to finally share their work with us! Ask me about my big buddies story.

Then it was time for gym. We are still working on our gymnastics skills including balances, turns, leaps, hops, and safe "c" landings. A few of us were very inspired by the big air competition at the olympics and were working on our own moves today. Here are a few shots of our work:
