Special Visitors today!

This morning we had library and a bit of time to try to finish our family writing. Tomorrow will be our last day to work on our family page during writing time. After tomorrow this will become a job to finish at centers or for homework.

This morning in olympic math we continued working on our rings. One of our groups made it to 100! That group shared their strategy with us to help us all get better at this job. Ask me to explain the strategy my group is using for his job.

This afternoon our Simon Fraser Jr. High neighbors came to visit us! They came to visit us to help about bullying and how to stop it from happening. First, we watched a story called The Invisible Boy. Then we talked about the story in small groups. After that we each designed a t-shirt for Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is a day to remind people not to act like bullies and to be good friends instead.

After that we went outside for gym! We all played on the huge snow fort!

Our helper tomorrow is: Lily

We are still hoping to go to Nose Hill on Friday. So far we have 1 volunteer from Room 2. If you are able to volunteer please email Ms. Boyer
